Crypto Currency Hardware Wallet

I am aiming to produce cryptocurrency hardware wallet. ( e.g ledger, trezor )
Ideally what I want to achieve:
1- USB like hardware to store the software/solution to be built
2- Software/Solution to support the most common crypto-currencies as a wallet, allow receive and send
3- Source code is to be open-source
4- Web Application ( chrome compatible ) where you can see your coins in dashboard, do send/receive
5- Following standards to allow recovery in case device is lost
6- Private key in the device never reveals to screen and/or third parties ( following full standards in this domain)
7- Secure login via ping/passphrase
I want to develop this in phases, we can decide and plan road-map together but potentially starting small and scaling from there.
Example roadmap may look like:
- Decide coins
- Develop workflow and how it will work E2E
- Develop/test initial software ( in testnet for example )
- Find a right h/w which can support to software
- Run software on H/W and test
- Allow software update/upgrade for improvements and supporting more coins
- Define/develop support for product in case improvements needed
