Fix Windows 7 Failure To Update (Via Teamviewer)

I am having problems with my Windows 7 laptop which is not fetching updates. When you click on "check for updates" it stays stuck in the same position for hours.
I have used the Windows Online Fixit Tool, but this does not work. I therefore need a trusted person with Windows IT skills who is familiar with Windows Operating Systems to log into my laptop viaTteamviewer and manually reset Windows Update components.

This job can be done in less than an hour by any competent IT person faimiliar with Windows Admin/Operating Systems.
