I manage a customer base of about 450 cafe owners. My company allocates, services, and repairs coffee machines and we generate income by renting out the fleet. We currently use an accounting software program which holds just about all of the data so one option is that this portal is able to communicate with this program and use the existing data (both send and receive). The other option is that it is stand-alone (which is fine), we'll just need to import the data manually.
It needs to have the following functionality:
• Installation checklist and customer setup checklist (flow). Anything not complete is red lighted. Once it is resolved it goes green and we can move to the next step. This will allow various departments to see where we are at with each install. essentially the portal will be a central node for communication.
• Machine register – need to be able to see machine history, location, Where it's going (if allocated to a new customer), parts put into it via refurbishments, what it’s worth to us on the books (i.e. depreciation) as well as value of parts put into it, what it’s generating for us financially via rental!
• Machine allocations. Auto allocate machines to customers based on easy variables – age, model, colour… We need to be able to see where a machine is going at a glance with full details easily visible.
• Live comms. Users need to be able to update communications in real time so all can see any issues. In other words, all touch points with customers can be logged on the portal and reviewed by all.
• Can search by customer, location, serial number, model number, colour, age… anything.
• Customer details – ranking (platinum, gold etc…), volume of coffee used per week, address, tenure. Everything. Auto alert if customer weekly average drops or if rating drops! (based on simple formula)
• Every bit of information needs to be available in an easy to navigate portal!
• Full service history available and updateable
• Solution needs to be integrated to opmetrix
Would be great to have this as an easy to use app.
I assume that there exists a package that ALMOST does everything we require and that a little tweaking may be in order.
