For Azure App Service, the risky parts are usually DNS propagation, hostname verification, SSL binding order, and app setting changes that accidentally trigger avoidable downtime, so I would handle this in a controlled sequence. I’ve worked on App Service deployments where the main requirement was exactly this final production hardening step: domain mapping, HTTPS enforcement, certificate binding, and portal-level configuration updates. The benefit of doing it properly is that you end up with a stable setup that resolves correctly, shows the padlock, and keeps the running instance reading the right environment values. The domain has to be verified and mapped before a certificate can be bound to it, so I would do it in that sequence and keep the current hostname working throughout. What I would do: - Add the domain to the App Service and set the DNS records so it resolves properly, including the www and root variants - Issue and bind a certificate to the domain so HTTPS loads with no warnings, and force HTTP traffic over to it - Add the new environment settings so the running app reads them, applied in a way that does not drop live requests - Check the result from a clean browser and on an SSL checker, then send you a short note of exactly what was changed and where INR 6,500, done within 5 days.
