Water3 is a rapidly growing international company as you can see at [login to view URL]

A hi-tech solution to the waste created by plastic water bottles, Water3 intends to have environmentally friendly water cabinets all over the globe. With 30 people in Brisbane, Australia and around 36 in Bangkok, this ‘young’ company is growing exponentially and expects to turn over USD 1 billion this year. It’s a great company to join with a relaxed and cooperative working environment, excellent career prospects and opportunities to travel, train, develop software/hardware and increase the efficiency and reliability of the hardware water Kiosks. International customers will need customisation and obviously local language options.

The company is the first in the world to develop true ‘push’ advertising on the kiosk video screens tailored to the consumer’s taste and interests and advertising local businesses near the kiosk location

Water3 also wants to investigate serving other fluids (flavoured still or soda drinks) from the same Kiosks since the growing ban on single use plastics will affect these markets.

All the above needs to be clearly documented by a writer with a basic understanding or electrical, electronic, mechatronic and software engineering.

Vending Machine International (VMI) is the Thai entity in Prawet, Bangkok where software development and R&D is based. The machines are manufactured at an outsourced plant in Rayong where the QC/QA team is located. You would receive training on the machine on-site here.

Reporting to the Software Manager, this role – Technical Writer - concentrates on learning and understanding how the kiosks work and constructing a User Manual for new Kiosk farm managers across the globe, covering installation and setup, servicing, common fault finding, e-commerce, Global ERP system, billing and accounting.

This new role has become available because of my client's continued international expansion. The company is expanding all over Asia and the rest of the world and there are fantastic opportunities as more countries plan to ban single use plastics. There are the internationalisation issues including different electrical standards and languages as the company expands it global markets.

There could, therefore be a lot more work including international travel for the right freelancer.

Initially a two month on-site contract to generate and get the first edition approved.
