I’m moving from concept to bench-top reality on a new battery pack and I need an R&D hardware engineer who is equally comfortable with Battery Management Systems like Anker 737 & thermal control hardware. I’m looking someone with a hands-on specialist who can own the phase, turning those drawings into a working assembly that can survive abuse testing and provide clean, reliable data. Your day-to-day focus will be: • Circuit design for the BMS daughter-boards, including cell-balancing, current-sense, protection FETs and all supporting analog/digital interfaces. • Thermal analysis of the pack and its integrated cold-plate, using your calculations to specify sensors, heaters, interface materials and control loops before committing them to hardware. Once the schematics and thermal stack-up are frozen, you’ll drive the board spins, source parts, assemble the prototypes and bring them up in the lab. I already have a small test rig with programmable loads and an environmental chamber; you’ll script the characterisation runs, capture the data and recommend the next round of tweaks. Acceptance criteria – Functional BMS prototype that communicates over CAN and handles balancing / protection within spec – Thermal subsystem demonstrating ≤ 3 °C cell-to-cell delta at 2 C discharge in a 35 °C ambient chamber test – Full documentation set: schematics, BOM, Gerbers, thermal model and test report Note: few more modules & deliverables which I will explain over the chat. BMS & thermal management will plain main role, with other modules. Altium (or KiCad), MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS/Icepak or equivalent should feel like home to you. If this sounds like the kind of deep-dive hardware sprint you enjoy, let’s talk timelines and get the first boards on order

With an extensive 27-year career in Systems Architecture and physical-world hardware integration, I, Rahul, strongly believe I am the perfect fit for your BMS & Thermal Engineering project. Not only do I have relevant experience in dealing with defense-grade and critical military systems but also specialise in complex bottlenecks solving and system scalability implementation. My skills with Aletium, MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS/Icepak and equivalent will undoubtedly prove useful throughout your project's lifecycle. Given my background and proven deep-diving abilities to ensure physical oscilloscope verification during deliverables; you can rest assured that I'll not only help fabricate the schematics and design but will also take care of test running the BMS prototype- providing clean reliable data for further improvements.

Hi, I’m an Electronics Engineer and freelancer with practical hands-on experience in embedded hardware and software development. I work with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, C/C++ programming, circuit interfacing, data acquisition, and hardware-software integration. I understand the fundamentals of battery systems, BMS architecture, voltage/current/temperature sensing, cell protection, balancing, MOSFET control, and CAN-based communication, and I can work from circuit concepts and drawings toward prototype development and testing. I’m also comfortable with MATLAB -Simulink for modeling, calculations, data analysis, and control-system development. I’d be happy to review your existing drawings and requirements and discuss how I can contribute to the BMS, thermal-control hardware, and other modules.

Hello, I have a expertise in battery design with active and passive balancing. I have already developed the 6S-2P battery with temperature control of <2 Degree across the cell to cell using 18650 lithium ion cells. Lets connect and discuss more regarding it and i have a knowledge to design the mechanical housing with thermal isolation if you are working with commercial Power bank with proper standard.

Hi there, I am an experienced R&D hardware engineer ready to take your new battery pack from concept to bench-top reality. I specialize in both Battery Management Systems and thermal control hardware. I am highly proficient in Altium/KiCad for circuit design and ANSYS/Icepak for thermal analysis. I can take full ownership of designing the BMS daughter boards (cell-balancing, current-sense, protection FETs) and specifying the thermal stack-up. Beyond design, I am comfortable driving board spins, sourcing parts, assembling prototypes, and executing lab bring-ups with programmable loads and environmental chambers. I will ensure the prototypes meet your strict acceptance criteria, including: A functional BMS communicating over CAN. A thermal subsystem maintaining ≤ 3°C cell-to-cell delta at 2°C discharge in 35°C ambient. Full documentation: schematics, BOM, Gerbers, thermal models, and test reports. I am ready for this deep-dive hardware sprint. Let’s discuss the timelines and additional modules over chat so we can get the first boards ordered. Best regards, Shubhankar

Hi, I checked the requirements carefully. The main challenge here is not just making the BMS board, but getting the electrical protection, balancing and thermal system working together under the 2C load condition. I can take care of the BMS circuit/PCB, CAN communication, current sensing and FET protection, and also work on the cold plate, sensor placement and thermal control to keep the cell temperature spread within your target. I can handle the prototype bring-up and test data as well, so we can use the first test results to decide what needs changing for the next board revision. Please share the battery configuration and the other modules you mentioned. I can review them first and then confirm the board plan.
