Dear Dan: your blog is amazing and as a professional translator I have to say it is a bit unrealistic to expect one person to translate 40.000 words in 10 days, unless the translator has no other clients and is willing to sacrifice quality. Your writing is personal and, in a way, literary. A translator who cares will probably need nearly as much time to chose the words as you did, in order to keep the Spanish text close to the original in meaning and style. I would love to translate your posts, but I would need 15 days if I am going to translate them well.
