Reduce sentence

Hi my name is Lyneshia Hughes I’m writing you regarding a love one of mine that has been incarcerated for the last 15 years of his life We’ve been trying to find a lawyer that can help him with his case to get his sentence reduced he has serve 13 years so far. He was sentenced to 27 years in state prison and we are just trying to see if we can get some of the new laws that applies to his case. He was charged With 2nd degree Robbery with two strikes they double his Sentence for the crime plus enhancement plus prior Felonise all together total 27 years. He was only 20 years old and that was his second time he been arrested the prior was a juvenile case when he was 16 years old which he serve three years for it. Now he had did his time for the Robbery which was 10 years. Right now at this time he severing time for gang enhancement and he don’t qualified for the youth offender because he’s a two striker. He had participated in a lot of rehabilitation programs he has certificates he has his GED and he has college credits we are just trying to figure out what is the best way to approach the situation with all this going on in the world they’re not looking at his case to even be considered for a early release hope to hear from you soon have blessed day stay safe
