Video Editor for Crime Drama Series

Professionally produced independent episodic crime drama currently in post-production. This is an eight-episode series with the pilot substantially edited. The remaining episodes have already been assembled, with all footage reviewed, organized, synced, and placed on the timeline. Compensation is on a per-episode basis, with the expectation that each episode can be completed within approximately 3–4 weeks, depending on revisions and collaboration. Editors will not be starting from raw footage or spending time searching through hundreds of clips. The primary responsibility is refining the existing edits into polished, cinematic final episodes. I'm seeking an experienced video editor with strong narrative storytelling skills who can elevate pacing, emotion, suspense, continuity, sound design, transitions, color consistency, and the overall cinematic quality of the series. I'll provide detailed editing notes and clear creative direction while also valuing collaboration and welcoming creative ideas that strengthen the final product. I'm looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who communicates well, meets deadlines, and takes pride in producing exceptional work.
