This is a portfolio of Early Childhood Education. I am looking for a person who has degree and experience of this project. There are 3 parts of this project
1. Based on Social Observations
a. Observe children in the room and identify one child that you consider is having difficulty being accepted by peers
b. Provide an anecdote that illustrates the child’s relationship with peers and make inferences about his/her social development.
c. Outline developmental strategy/ies to support the child/ren in becoming accepted by peers. The strategy/ies are to be written in paragraphs. In your own words explain your rationale or reason for the outlined strategy/ies. This should be the detailed evidence to back up your strategy/ies. Include your reason why this strategy is developmentally appropriate for this child? Ensure you follow APA formatting.
2. Games with Rules
a. Record an anecdote of a child playing a game with rules.
b. Write a developmental inference which explains the child’s knowledge of games with rules using course resources.
c. Identify the child’s emerging ability
d. Describe how you would support their efforts based on your inference.
e. Explain your rationale or reason for your decision with the particular strategy you have in mind. (Remember to discuss why this strategy is developmentally appropriate for this child). Ensure you include APA in-text citations.
3. Self-Concept and Stage of Friendship
a. Interview your child for the purpose of understanding the child’s Stage of Friendship according to Robert Selman.
i. In order to avoid any negative effect on the children’s relationships in the room, ask the child to think of a friend, but not name them! Then ask the child to describe what makes that person a friend and what friends do with each other.
ii. Write up what happened in the interview using an anecdotal format including your questions and the child’s answers.
iii. What can you infer regarding the child’s stage of friendship according to Selman? Be sure to use APA in-text citations.
b. Analysis of self-concept
• Ask the child a series of questions, such as “how would you describe yourself etc.,” that will let you infer the child’s understanding of sense of self (Self-concept using class notes)
• Write a paragraph explaining what you have learned about this particular child’s self-concept
• Use APA in-text citations to back up your thinking
