I am looking for a virtual assistant to help me with my business. I buy and resell items. I am looking for an assistant to monitor my local craigslist during daytime and evening hours USA time. You will be searching specific categories for items listed for sale that are undervalued that I can purchase and make a profit on by selling on Ebay. I typically buy from the electronics and video game categories, but may also purchase from additional categories. You would monitor new listings in these categories throughout the day and message me with any listings that would be worth me buying. You will need to become familiar with the values of some main items in these categories and you can always search values by looking for similar items that have sold on ebay. I can pay a daily rate for the time of searching, but can also pay a commission if your efforts lead to good profits. An ideal relationship would be a low daily rate for searching and most payments made based upon listings found and purchased. I also post wanted ads for items that I buy, so if you have the ability to post multiple ads throughout the day, that would also help to increase payment. The ability to create ads and make them unique is a plus. I'm looking for a long-term relationship. You don't have to be available all days and at all times, but the more you are available and the more business that you can help bring me, the more I can pay. This is probably a great project that can be done while also working on other projects. Please mention in your proposal why you would be a good candidate and what your times of availability are. My time zone is GMT -5 Eastern Time Zone USA. I think that most post searching would be best between 11am-8pm 7 days a week. Hello! I am interested in your project. I am from Mexico, time zone GMT - 6 so its almost the same as yours. I am pretty familiar with electronics, being a long long time gamer myself, so learning the prices of videogames and electronics would represent no problem for me. I also have knowledge in PC hardware (gaming and ordinary hardware) if you think that is a profitable category. I really like the concept of searching for undervalued things and then reselling them for a higher price, it is something I have done several times myself, but craigslist is not as widely known here in Mexico as it is in USA. I am guessing you would provide some kind of a starter list of the main items that you buy and the average price so they are worth buying? And after that I would have to learn prices of new items, but as I said I have no problem with that. About availability, I am an accountant working from 9am-7pm, so I can monitor new listings during that time, I am also able to check listings from 9pm to midnight regularly, since I am pretty much in front of a PC the whole day. About posting wanted adsI also have no problem with that, I can post multiple ads throughout the day. In case you are interested please let me know. By the way, I am not expecting to be paid for every hour, the bid is just to send you an offer, I like your idea of low daily rate and most of the payment coming from listings found and purchased.
