We are looking for someone to help us to identify the hardware and the configuration needed to allow for the fastest possible connection to a SQL Server database over the Internet. We wish to be able to retrieve data from the database at the fastest possible speed.
We need someone to help us to get the best possible performance from a software program that is linked to a SQL Server database over the Internet using named pipes connection.
The project will be paid on an hourly basis. The initial project will be for 10 hours. If we are happy with the results there will be continuous work afterwards.
