eyeball chat client clone

Im looking for some starter code for me to play around with.

I just want a very basic client,

Client must:

vb6 code

Connect to eyeball chat

Be able to join a room and send pms

Code must be commented so i can learn from it.

Would also me nice if the client could send files but thats not a must

I cant afford to spend alot on this but as its such a simple project i dont expect it to cost to much.

I just hope somone has time to do this very small project for me lol

to clear up confusion this is more of a bot than a client
and i only need the login, join chat, send chat packets codeing in vb6
