Our PCORS application needs to be able to send automated emails out to our new Microsoft 365 email account. We moved from Google Business to Microsoft 365, which broke the functionality. We also need PCORS and associated applications that it runs on like Tomcat and grails to be updated to the latest version of code.
PCORS is a custom application that is used to manage our processes for repairing power supplies and related items. It tracks items with a barcode that is assigned by use of a sticker when an item is received. PCORS tracks the item and time spent at each stage to repair it. It also maintains our customer information and auto generates an invoice and emails it to the client when the repair is completed. It also connects into Quickbooks for financials. PCORS can also update SEO information on Google for specific devices so that searches on the web for particular parts or item numbers will bring up Power Clinic Inc as a top search choice.
We currently run PCORS on a Hyper-V virtual machine and have replicated the VM into the Azure Cloud. You will be granted access to the VM running in the Azure Cloud environment that will allow you to fully understand the application, upgrade it and fully test with existing customer information which is stored in an associated MySQL DB. Once your upgrade is completed, we will copy the latest MySQL DB from the on prem DB to the upgraded PCORS application in the Azure Cloud and go live.
