wordpress Developer (repost)

My company runs a network of blogs and we are looking for a wordpress development team/guru to handle plugin\feature development, maintenance, security, speed optimization and wordpress installation and upgrades.

I run large websites which receive millions of visitors per year and need a wordpress developer of a very high standard.

Skills Required [DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE FOLLOWING]:

- Must have had past experience developing custom wordpress plugins

- Must have knowledge of wordpress security and site speed optimization

- Must have there own live test environment that I can access. This would be where you can test changes to the site and I can see them before they are applied to the live real website.

- Must be a Fluent English Speaker

Regular work is available, especially over the next 2 months. An example job which you may have is listed below:

Security tweaks needed for a wordpress blog using a custom theme.

Overview: Research potential security tweaks to be made, and provide list of these tweaks and how long you expect them to take.

This initial job is a research job so please quote accordingly. Carrying out the security tweaks will follow this job..

a) Look at the WP-Security-Scan plugin which is installed on the site. Check what security upgrades the plugin recommends need to be made and list them.

b) Do further research into making the wordpress site more secure and from this add to the list of security tweaks.

We appreciate security is an ongoing and in-depth job, the intention of this particular job is to identify any major security holes and relatively quick and easy tweaks that can be made to improve the overall security of the site. Such tweaks would be on par with what is in articles here:

It is expected that you would include those tweaks listed in those articles (unless you disagree with any of the recommendations) and also your own ideas for improving security.

c) Compile a list of the security tweaks/changes you intend to make. Note any security upgrades you are unsure of or have important drawbacks.

d) Quote how much it would cost for you to perform all these upgrades/tweaks, and how long it will take. The second job (after this) would be for you to carry out these tweaks.
