Project: “Design/edit Skin for Blog using already layered PSD image”
THIS IS A PHOTOSHOP PROJECT.
Budget for this project is $200 to $250 USD total.
The winner may receive additional projects after this project is complete resulting in additional income.
Short Project Summary:
Designer to “skin” layered psd image to be used for a wordpress blog.
Only 1 final layered photoshop file to be provided by designer to Project Manager.
Revisions may be required. Some artistic license is given. Ideally this project is
for anyone, but the final theme is targeted to a female audience.
* ALL BIDDERS MUST SUPPLY SMALL SAMPLE OF WORK USING THE ATTACHED FILES
(to show that you can manipulate the images provided and follow these instructions)
Deadline:
All work must be completed 48 hours after the designer has been selected by the Project Manager. Any revisions will require additional time as needed. It is expected that this project must be completed by 3/1/2012.
Bid Requirements:
1. Please provide your bid within the budget we've allotted for this project.
2. Please provide a short description of your experience.
3. Please download the attached files and create a sample of your work using the files. When you upload that work sample make sure that you follow the directions completely. Use the Freelancer message board to upload samples.
Designer provided:
1. Full-Size and Layered PSD image (actual layout, already sized). DO NOT change the sizes, widths of any of the layers.
2. Full-Size background images to be used to create final “skin” (see zipped files below).
3. Instructions (this page and the "[login to view URL]" file below, plus you can Private Message questions via the Freelancer PMB.
Special Instructions for the designer:
Designer is free to:
1. Designer is free to change all fonts styles and sizes (Must use Google WebFonts [preferred] or FontSquirrel fonts [if necessary])
Primary body font should be a Sans Serif font (Helvetica or similar)
2. Designer is free to set all colors/graphics (background/font/etc) to add/create icons.
3. Designer is free to replace social media icons with new icons matching overall style (see note below). It is ok to slide the "Book Graphic 468x90" to make room for icons.
4. Designer is free to design simple logo in header incorporating title provided in [login to view URL] file included - This is the only text element that is permitted to be a rasterized image instead of true text
5. Designer is encouraged to work in the provided PSD file, but is welcome to merge, regroup, add layers as they see fit.
Designer should:
Base style on color palette and sample graphics provided however we do expect the designer to expand on what was provided with new/additional graphics.
Designer should not:
1. Do not change the general structural wireframe layout of pages however the designer may increase padding/whitespace between elements to achieve balance.
2. Do not change the size of photos without 1st requesting and receiving approval to do so.

Final Notes:
Please ask any and all questions via the Freelancer private message board. Please do not attempt to contact us through any other means because that is a violation of Freelancer policies and we will delete your bid if you do. Please be considerate of others and do not bid unless you are experienced with “skinning” using PSD files for WordPress blogs.
