Hi We need to migrate our 7 yrs old website to shopify. We mainly specialize in ink/toner cartridges, Batteries, Smartphone/iphone accessories, Electronic part, Office stationery We're looking to move all our inventory from our actual website to shopify ( All our data are available in CSV ) . You must be a shopify expert with some creation. You will gain more attention if you already work for the same kind of project. Read the entire project carefully and bid with a quote. Below our needs : Setup ====== - Setup our shopify account - Install the theme we already purchase: [login to view URL] - Setup the theme ( layout, design, functions... ) in french/english, multidevise ( we do NOT required to translate the data. We will do this part ourself ) - setup the payment : Paypal and Moneris ( not sure if we will use moneris or stripe ) - setup the shipping : canadapost - setup 404 - setup group ( regular customer, VIP, reseller ... ) - setup facebook on shopify ( also update the setup of our facebook page, design, etc... ) - Migration of ( all from csv ): ===================================== . our existing customer database ( about 23k ) . If possible, the order history . our products ( about 15k ) . pictures for each product . category . reviews . Mailing list ( about 20k ) . do the product/category association . cross reference ( ink cartridges, batteries, accessories ) Design ======= . We already have our logo . we need some banners . general design: FAQ, About us, Contact us . Pictures resize ( All images must have the same size ) . Must be able to offer a professionnal design quality - Install and setup these shopify apps : ============================================ 1) review : [login to view URL] 2) Multi-level search : [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] ( must be use for many category ie: ink cartridge finder, battery finder & phone accessories finder ) * this step require some data manipulation ( cross reference ). 3) easy report : [login to view URL] 4) Adress Label : [login to view URL] 5) product quantity break : [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] ( must fit in the theme in french & english ) 6) livechat : [login to view URL] 7) contact form ( to apply wholesale, join our team etc... ) : [login to view URL] 8) Mailing list : *** Not sure if we want to use & sync mailchimp... we would prefer another solution to directly link our shopify account with a mailing list cheaper ($) than mailchimp. 9) RMA [login to view URL] ( must work in french & english ) SEO ==== . Must be sure to not penalize our ranking during the migration ( 301 redirect etc... ) *** Do not apply if you haven't any shopify experience ( ** Have some concrete creation to show) ** If you have some sample of multilingual website, let us know in your cover letter * If you have experience with YMMA ( multilevel dropdown search tools ) ie: ink cartridge, battery finder, auto part finder etc... Hi There, Greetings. We don't believe in mouthing self-appraisal words but just so you know we have more than 10,00,000 man hours of Shopify design and development experience under our belt. Right from customizing premium themes to developing sites right from scratch, we do it all!! There's a saying, " A wise man does not give the right answers, but he asks the right questions", so here we go : 1. How many types of groups do you have?(Reseller, Regular customer, etc) 2. Once the theme is installed, do you need any customizations as far as the look and feel of the site are concerned? (We're talking about structural changes, not cosmetic) 3. Which platform is your existing site based on? We would check the DB of the existing site and get all the possible info from there, As long as the info there on the old site we can fetch it in the new site but if it's not there then it's going to be a matter of concern. 4. Will there be any extra or less number of pages in comparison to the new and old site or the number and content of pages will exactly be the same? This is important for us to know in reference to the 301 redirections. 5. Which mailing tool will we be using in the new site? There are many more questions but we guess this is good to get started with. We are running out on the number of characters, please initiate the PM so we can share some of our work samples.
