Hi, I'm a professor at a small state school who is trying to put together a website to highlight my research lab. We use fruit flies to model neurodegenerative diseases and to try to find potential therapies. I'm thinking I just want an image in the style of the 'sample fly' image I've uploaded, but with some slight modifications, namely making it more physiologically accurate either with its wings folded (see 'picture of fruit fly with wings folded) or its wings extended (see 'fruit fly with wings spread' 1 and 2). I also had a thought about making a logo of a fly with it's wings extended sort of as the vetruvian man, but with the fly in the same style as the 'sample fly' image. I would also be open to other interpretations, but basically just want a clean and simple image of a fruit fly that I can use throughout my site. Thank you for your time and consideration!
