hi, we are a machine tool dealer and import machine tools from asia and sell them to b2b customers. We also have some used/stock machines we sell. The website is mainly for information pupose and inquiries (no e-commerce needed). in english and german. Further languages will come. The competitors websites are: • [login to view URL] • [login to view URL] • [login to view URL] • [login to view URL] • [login to view URL] • [login to view URL] • [login to view URL] (IMPORTANT: we are using the same database, means the machines from our ERP system are feeding into this webpage AND our website via xml interface) We are looking for a web developer who: • hosts our website on a regular basis • creates slides, new pages etc. • implements our changes quickly and who is in permanent contact with us Languages – PHP 5.3; JavaScript (Jscript); HTML; DHTML (HTML+JavaScript);CSS Database Management Systems – MySQL Platform - individual solution - similar with Kohana (zend framework) Are you familiar with that? Further we have: • machines/product page: We input the data into our ERP system (called MHS) which generates a xml file and feeds into our website and the webpage www.machinestock.com. The file is generated daily. Further there are certain machines (our new machines, not on stock) where only certain data (pictures, pdf files, some main data, but no detailed data) is coming from the xml interface. The rest is coming from xls files on the server. We have script which is running through the files (via cron job every night) and is combining these data with the data coming from the xml interface.
