I have wordpress blog hosted on hostgator, and need it transferred to another host. I have all accounts set up, all ftp info ready, all passwords and usernames ready.

But I tried to do this myself and kept getting database errors. I am pretty sure it was to do with mySQL stuff, but I'm not knowledgable about this.

So what I want is a bug-free transition from one hosting to the other.

As you will obviously know, it's not just a case of moving the files from one to the other.

So if you've done it before, please post :)
