Harry did a great job of completing our job in a very tight deadline. There were few amendments to be made during the process and these were completed with no fuss and straight away. Communication was good and we'd have no hesitation using Harry again. Good Luck!

Dynamic Characteristics of a Multi-Body System – a Single Stand Cold Rolling Mill

Asia Pacific Vibration Conference
Due to gauge variations, each octave mode of chatter is believed to be responsible for most of the damage to the product. In order to control chatter in cold rolling operations, an in-depth understanding of the fundamental mechanics of the vibration is required. Additionally, the research of dynamic phenomena in tandem cold rolling mills has been recently approached in many works, both theoretical and experimental.

The effect of tension variation in the dynamic roll gap on cold rolling mill stability

ACAM 7
This paper investigates the nature of chatter, which is related to vibrations in horizontal and vertical direction, introducing the bearing dynamics and tension variation models, identifying transient characteristics of the coupled mass elements and demonstrating the limiting operational conditions of a cold rolling mill.

The effect of rolling speed and friction on cold rolling mill stability

ASME 2012 International Mechanical Engineering
In order to investigate the validity of a coupled mill vibration model presented in the dynamic rolling formulation, this paper presents the results of dynamic characteristics examining rolling force variations in response to rolling parameters.

SIMULATION OF UNIT CELL PERFORMANCE IN THE POLYMER ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE FUEL CELL

International Journal of Automotive Technology
Fuel cells are devices that convert chemical energy directly into electrical energy. a large number of research work have been done during this years. Among many kinds of the fuel cell, polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell is such kind of thing which work under low temperature. Because of the speciality, it stimulated intense global R&D competition. Most of the major world automakers are racing to develop polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell passenger vehicles.

Effects of Flow Characteristics in Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell

Materials Science
An experimental and numerical study of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) is presented and compared with the experimental data to investigate the effects of pressure gradient, flow rate, humidification and supplied oxidant type for the practical application. The membrane and electrolyte assembly (MEA) materials are implemented by double-tied catalyst layers.

PREDICTION OF ELASTIC MODULUS IN DISCONTINUOUS COMPOSITE MATERIALS

undefined
An investigation to predict elastic composite modulus is presented to evaluate the stress transfer mechanism using the new shear lag analysis when the fiber aspect ratio is small in elastic loading. The stress concentration factor between fiber and matrix is expressed as a function of modulus ratio to calculate the elastic composite modulus. A FEA(Finite Element Analysis) model with axisymmetry is implemented to verify the results of composite properties.
