Additionally, I was the lead Accountant for a company I owned for roughly 8 years. I'm familiar with tax prep and filing, deadlines, month end closing, auditing and accruals. I also have the privilege of being a Mother, so my time management, organization and multi-tasking skills are top notch. While I made my way through various industries out in the workforce, I had the opportunity to learn many different types of software. These include, but are not limited too Quickbooks, Peachtree, People Soft and Microsoft Office which are all pretty common. More obscure software would be software that was specifically designed for in-house use at some companies I worked for.
