The name is Thom. I'm twenty-seven years old and a recent transplant to the area from Florida and various other locations around the world (some might consider me an army brat). My first talent is with the written word. I'm an avid fiction writer working on a second novel. My genres are primarily contemporary fantasy and contemporary science-fiction. I'm a skilled proofreader and content adviser for creative writing and correspondence. I dabble with poetry and seek to hone this skill. Acting is my second talent, something that I've done since my sophomore year of high school. Some of my greatest roles include Benny Southstreet in Guys and Dolls, Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof, and Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. My skills on the stage are not limited to purely acting; I'm a vocalist and a dancer. Because of my training on the stage, my third gift is my song. My range is tenor/baritone and is equipped to adapt to many styles of music, including theater, country, rock, and pop in addition to enhancing varying degrees of vocal harmony. My most recent training surrounded Barbershop Harmony, where my vocal versatility allowed me to slip into three of the four parts. Favorite singers I fashion myself after include Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Michael Buble, and Josh Groban.

Into The Stars

A man, commissioned to direct a stage-play he wrote as a means of therapy, navigates through the images of his failed relationship as a new contender plays for his heart. "Humorous, clever and poignant, 'Into the Stars' will at various times leave the reader breathless, light-hearted, angry, amused, romantic and sad, but never bored." -Scott A. Drake, Philadelphia Gay News columnist
