Return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), and earnings per share (EPS) are used as dependent variables. Bank’s size, gearing ratio, non-performing loans (NPL) ratio, operational efficiency, asset composition, asset management, capital adequacy ratio, deposit ratio, gross domestic product (GDP), and consumer price index (CPI) are used as independent variables.
