Contest Brief

I want a Logo designed for a new heating and cooking appliance service business. I want a fresh modern logo design with text that is sharp and modern. Nothing extremely detailed as I want to have the logo look great on vehicles, stationary, website and uniforms. I am looking forward to seeing some creative ideas that are out of the box and eye catching.

My target market is aged between 35-60 years old. As the contest name describes the business is an appliance and gas service business. We service gas and electric cooktops, stoves, ovens heaters and hot water systems. We want to break the stereotypes of how our customers think of tradesmen and our logo will be paramount to this goal. I am seeing the logo colors to be red and blue but I am open to other colors if the designer sees fit. I like the idea of a blue curling burner flame incorporated into the logo and have attached a picture of something to work off ( I do not have the copyright for this image. It can only be used as a reference to design your own concept).
The business name is;
Marshall Appliance and Gas Services
I am envisioning "Marshall" being large with "Appliance and Gas Services" written smaller below. However I am open to ideas.
I will need the finished files in eps format. Language in english.
I will be looking for a designer to continue working with and create the brand identity and possibly website if happy with the logo.
