Contest Brief

*Design a Website Mockup (Contest Winner gets contract for all site design)
Please think carefully as to how much you want to sell your entry for *

Established and successful UK business requires a new host for their corporate website / e-commerce and several other active domains.

The new hosting is to coincide with a rebuild of the main website and continuing work on the domains (please quote for the entirety of the project, not just the contest)

Due to Time constraints we will have to migrate the existing website to the new host, prior to the updated website going live

WEBSITE

We require a mock-up of one or two webpages, aimed at showing a new theme for the website,

* Website is to be user friendly, with a clean eye catchy theme, which will appeal to traditional British gardeners but be modern, showing knowledge of current trends in fonts, colours, graphic design etc.

* Please show a page featuring one of our products with emphasis on e-commerce / shopping basket integration (please use your knowledge to describe what e-commerce platform you envisage using)

* Wording is not important as we will provide full text for use, but please show us how you would layout the KEY PRODUCT FEATURES on the page

* We would like our website to include product demonstration videos, please show room for them on the page and what how these would be built into the website

* Please tell us what web security you would put in place for our website

* Consider what integration with social media and other potential platforms e.g. Amazon, ebay, Kashflow Accounting could be undertaken

* Website management - what simple adjustments could we make to our website - e.g. updating prices

* Statistics - how we can assess the number of viewings for each page, how many of those then purchase product etc.

HOSTING

* Please tell us what website hosting company you would want us to use - their strengths, costs etc.

* Email handling. We currently get a lot of spam email, what could be done to cut this down, make our email easier to handle

I have attached existing product information, catalogue pages, images etc. which should be used to help create the mock up pages. Please feel free to browse our existing website for more information on our products style etc.

  It will be a website of around 15 main pages and websites of a couple pages for auxiliary websites (individual websites for some of the products). Hosting is not to be included but I would require information on the company you propose us moving our websites to
