Contest Brief

Two options:
1. Start with the Saleor source code here: https://github.com/mirumee/saleor-storefront (find the Saleor core and Saleor Dashboard also on Mirumee's github)
2. Or start with with my storefront wip: git clone https://ga3lin@bitbucket.org/get-hooked-project/get-hooked-saleor-online-store.git (you'll also need to the Saleor core and Saleor Dashboard from Mirumee's github)

Customize the store such that a customer needs only enter first name, last name, and email in order to place an order. The order details will post to the database and be visible in the dashboard if an order is successful. This happens after clicking "place order" twice in my wip, so if you start with my wip you just need to fix this error.

The last step is to make sure the customer can review the order after submitting (without any dummy data visible) and the customer receives an email.

Windows and linux also available from that page. There is no 'build-assets'. Remember to set API_URI env variable. Prefer that you don't use docker but keep the same environment I'm using so I can easily check code and deploy.

The winner will receive $300 and an ongoing part-time contract to help with further store customizations to enable complex subscription products and a customer center.

  Hi Vishal, sry for the late response. Please include only first name, last name, and email in the form. The checkout process should be: customer selects an item, adds to cart, goes to checkout, enters name and email, and the order is submitted.

  1. Set up Saleor storefront and dashboard. Follow the installation instructions at saleor.io or on Mirumee's github.
  2. Remove billing, shipping, and review steps from the checkout page such that orders post upon filling out only name + email and submitting. You can pass in dummy data as long as the customer does not have an opportunity to see it.
