I need someone to tweak my x-cart e-commerce site. The attached script is used to call categories and subcats from the DB and create chained select boxes. The problem is, it calls every single category from the db first causing a bottleneck on my site (considering I have hundreds, maybe thousands of categories) What I want to do is just call the parent cats and onclick, call the subcats for that parent only and populate the next select box. The code basically does this already but is calling every cat and subcat first.

I have created a website in HTML that uses a number of photo "slide shows" where the visitor can click through a set of photos using "next" and "previous" buttons. The photos are called from a php file.
