Requirement Document Event management

Objective:

A simple android application which lets the Admin of the app to post the Event of the day or upcoming event in Chennai.

Key Requirements:

*The app should have a admin registration with mail confirmation. This allows him to post events.

*Things need to post a event.

1. Option to add Image

[login to view URL] to add Description (1000 character allowed) (Multi line text box)

3. Option to add Location (Map)

4. Option to add name and contact details of the event handler.

5. Option to enter date of the event.(Calendar control with from and to date).

6. Option to choose category of the event.(A Dropdown with Dance, Festival, Sports, Food festival)

7. Option to add the Entry free (A Radio button with FREE or PAID)

8. Option to set the End time for the Event.(Calender control which allow single date)

*Things need at the User end.

1. Simple list view which show all the above details to the viewer.

2. User should a have search option to find desired event.

3. Option to remind them on the about a particular event and a notification should be created about the saved event.

1 . The Very First Screen when a user opens the application:

Changes need for our application:

1. The place used for choosing location should have Calendar control where user can choose the date for events.

1.a. The calendar control should pop up and calendar should have additional two buttons

1.b . Shop for should be changed to Categories

The available categories need to be listed here with respective images and title.

2 . The Very Next Screen after choosing Category and date :

Changes need for our application:

The Grocery should be replaced with chosen event name and should show the count as in the image.

The below list should show have details of events available in the category.

The below list should show have details of events available in the chosen date or if user have not choosed the date pri or then the event can display randomly.

The below list should show have details of events available in the chosen location or nearby or everything based on the location preferred by user.

3 . The Very Next Screen after choosing one event should show the below screen:

* All the information which admin inputs at the time of CREATING A EVENT should be displayed here.

* The design should as same as this image.

*The entire screen should show only details of one Event which the user chooses.

*This event screen should have the option to set reminder and remind them on the time and date by a notification.

*Entry Free or Paid details showed be shown here.

*Should show weather event is closed or still in open based on the admin input on End Date.

Another Screen with the name of FREE in setting should be there Which shows only the FREE events ,based on admin input.
