As a Test Engineer I have the following responsibilities: • Design and build automated and semi-automated functional testers for production use. • Writing functional test software using LabView. • Design & Test Mechanical parts of test fixture & nail bed in AutoCAD Inventor 3D prior to build. Machine all required components in house using mill machine, Lathe machine regular workshop tools. • Design and build custom relay boards, prototypes and circuits for testers. • Generation of calibration procedures for designed TE • Generation of necessary Test Equipment support documentation. Which includes Schematics of tester, troubleshooting steps and all other required documents. • Provide remote assistance to overseas test equipment. • Diagnostic support as required • Reverse engineering of old test equipment’s and circuits with or without any documentation. • Design and build database in Microsoft Access to store & analyses test data.
