I work in professional publishing as a literary agent during the day, but moonlight as a professional freelancer at night. Sometimes, I even moonlight during the day. Previously, I was an editor at Three Rivers Press, an imprint that published winning pop-culture, humor, music, and how-to books. There I learned to write edgy, funny, droll, witty, compelling, brain-sticking copy for book jackets, catalogs, ads, sales sheets, and more. During my tenure at Random House, I also picked up significant rewriting, proofreading, and editing skills. All of these talents come in to play when I'm hired to add punch and pizazz to people's catalogs, brochures, websites, and more.
