<u>**WORK EXPERIENCE**</u>

Involved in the development of the learning management system. This is a fully internationalize application which support more than 7 languages, The system support Oracle, Sybase and Microsoft SQL server, using tomcat for application server. An awarded product of Online Learning Conference[12]. I proposed <u>extreme programming[2]</u> to help the development process from an un-organized and ad-hoc manner to a more controlled manner, and promote the writing unit test[3] for first step of automatic testing.
I mainly involved in developing the core framework of the product; analysis, design and implement new feature such as enrollment workflow sub-system, user-context email template mechanism, self-registration process, which using patterns like data access object, adapter, facade. |

Involved in the development of an inventory system for a China glasses factory. The project used Microsoft SQL server, Macromedia Jrun as development platform. And using Forte4j JDO and JSP to implement. |

Designed and implemented a PHP and Mysql web site for coach hiring system in England in two months. Besides the development project, I planned and configured all the hardware and software needed in running the site, such as OS and DBMS. |

* Wrote Java servlet for website and in-house programs, such as GB <-> Big5 converter, Attendance Checking system and Log analysis.
* Built a program for around 100 staff. The project included configuring the hardware and software, and designing the database scheme.
* Involved in the design and implementation of a multi-player game platform in JMS. |

**Projects done**:
* My final year project was to build a Jini base, distributed development environment. That was a team project, I focused on Versioning Collaboration Support. You can find the presentation[4] and the report[5] . The project[6] have been presented at CIC2002[7]CIC 2002
* Besides Jini (tuple space concept), I had done some distributive program in IBM aglet (mobile agent concept). Please find more details[8] or in my website.
* Another large-scale project worth to mention is a J2ME and J2EE location dependence carpark service. That was using JBoss as application server. Details are at [9].
* In university, I had also done some C projects in the school which are including socket programming and graphic programming[10].
