I am a digital illustrator that works predominately with Adobe Photoshop. I am adept at painting and illustrating in various styles. I have an strong understanding of Photoshop. Drawing and digital painting/colouring comes natural for me and I can work at a relatively fast speed. I have worked passionately on my own graphic novel story, Red Warrior (adapted from written novels) for a number of years now. Over the years of working on this, I have developed my skills to a professional level, producing high quality art. I have extensive knowledge of the functions within Photoshop and similar programs and I know how to combine this new technology with traditional art to create amazing designs and concepts. I have a good eye for detail. I also have the ability to suggest new ideas and to present these ideas to clients. I have great decision making and analytical skills along with the ability to stay calm and maintain a friendly attitude even when working in very stressful environments. I have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work efficiently with a team, but I am also self-motivated having committed a large portion of my life and free time to focus on creator owned projects, such as writing epic sci-fi fantasy novels and creating graphic novels from concept to finish. This includes script writing, character creation and design, creating storyboards/comic panels to fully illustrated and coloured pages, using colour, shade and lighting to set the mood and tone of the comic, along with adding text (speech bubbles and captions). This has given me the ability to be comfortable working independently to accomplish my goals or that of any respective company. I am also working hard to learn Spanish and have a moderate understanding of the language which will only improve over time as I continue to devote myself to learning and understanding the language.
