I have developed websites for over 10 years and my projects have been used by Fortune 500 companies including Windstream Communications and ALLTEL.
In addition to this, I have created many small websites for startup companies and small businesses. I have worked with several companies and assisted them in building their business and ultimately have had multiple businesses go public. I try and provide this expertice to all of my customers and clients if they request it.
**<u>PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE</u>**
**Akron** **Small Business Development Center** Akron, OH
*<u>Volunteer</u> (August 2008 - Present)*
My assistance was provided both in a business and legal capacity while working with the University of Akron’s Small Business Clinic. The SBDC tasked me to help small businesses that are just starting out to try and figure out if their business is a viable one and to help them with their business plan and their fundraising options and abilities and also their overall business planning strategies in both start-up and ongoing operations. Additionally, I have assisted small businesses with drafting contracts, articles of incorporation and reviewed their vendor’s contracts for them.
**Small Business Legal Clinic** Akron, OH
*<u>Student</u> (May 2008 – August 2008)*
Handled the legal needs for approximately 70 clients of the University of Akron School of Law’s small business legal clinic. As a student, I met with multiple clients and worked with them to help them decide how to manage and run their small businesses from both a legal and business perspective.

- Assisted in the drafting and filing of the articles of incorporation for LLCs.
- Aided a business in changing their corporate name.
- Drafted contracts for sales and purchases for small businesses.
- Drafted a convertible note for the sale of a vehicle.
- Helped client file a service mark for his small business.
**OptiCon Systems, Inc.** Dallas, TX
*<u>Secretary and Treasurer – Board of Directors</u> (January 2005 – August 2007)*
Elected to two-year term on OptiCon’s board of directors in January of 2005, and served as their secretary and treasurer. As a member of the Board of Directors, I was integral in negotiating and closing several internal and external contracts, including employment and an acquisition contract with a Corning Cable Systems, Inc. In addition, in January of 2005, OptiCon was in its initial stages of development, I was exposed to fund raising ventures, including negotiation with various equity groups for private placements, PIPE transactions and also assisted with the audits and other tasks and filings to enable OptiCon to become a public company. OptiCon became reporting in 2007 and began trading under OSYS.OB in January of 2008.
**Notable projects and accomplishments:**
- Worked directly with OptiCon’s executives to produce, refine and distribute financial models
- Integral to initial audit that will enable company to become publicly traded in 2nd quarter 2007
- Negotiated both procurement and operational contracts internally and externally, with international and domestic parties
- Aided in knowledge transfer of the OptiCon software application, worked directly with developers
**NeuWorld Communications, Inc.** North Richland Hills, TX
*<u>Director Business Development</u> (March 2004 – April 2005)*
As director of business development with NeuWorld, I was tasked with creating sales packages for NeuWorld’s business Voice over IP (VoIP) services. During this timeframe, I was able to build various marketing packages, and contracted with multiple vendors to enable NeuWorld to provide a complete service offering (voice and data). I was also instrumental in building out NeuWorld’s VoIP offering, and brought in numerous vendors, including Level 3 Communications, Centric Voice, Time Warner Telecom, Broadlink Telecom, Cisco, Polycom and NuVio to enable NeuWorld to offer a complete business VoIP solution.
**Notable projects and accomplishments:**
- Negotiated international and domestic vendor contracts for hardware and network needs
- Created NeuWorld’s marketing plan and implemented it in Dallas and Tampa, FL
- Created initial marketing materials, brochures and websites for the company
- Ran Dallas sales office from September of 2004 until March of 2005
- Negotiated reseller agreements with multiple data and cellular vendors to bolster offerings
- Negotiated and Closed initial network agreement with Level 3 Communications
**ITG Broadband** Little Elm, TX
*<u>Co-Founder</u> (March 2003 – March 2004)*
Co-founder and creator of ITG Broadband which was a wireless broadband provider in North Dallas. We utilized fixed wireless technologies to provide high-speed Internet services in one of the fastest growing areas of North Dallas at the time. ITG operated for approximately one year and then the business was sold.
**Notable projects and accomplishments:**
- Developed initial business plan, financial models and worked on private placement memorandum for the initial private offering
- Successfully raised initial start-up capital for the business through these endeavors.
- Negotiated contracts with Motorola, Trintel
