This is a coupled account for me and my wife. Me: I'm a part-time university teacher (mechanical engineering), but my huge hobby is programming. I did my master's thesis in C++ and then continued at working on hobby projects like own card game (OpenGL, SDL, WPF), data scrapping from sport's websites, or from cryptocurrency website. Later I got a job where I made applications for iPhone (swift) and worked on a project involving a drone, where the regulation (sensor reading, PID, kalman filter) was programmed in C++ along with server-drone communication. Then I made a database program for a private company (vb.net) with exports to word and excel. I also made several smaller projects in VBA, like fluid flow simulation or grocery items database. I'm bilingual in Slovak and Hungarian. My wife: My wife has a Master's degree in journalism. She worked in a radio dedicated for English speaking foreigners and citizens. Her hobbies are painting (brush and pencil) and writing short stories and poems. She also attended a lot of contests relating to facepainting and bodypainting, which is also her hobby. For a brief time she worked part-time for a company, where she edited photos in Adobe Photoshop. She is a native Czech speaker and currently works as an accountant. Translation prices (into Slovak, Czech or Hungarian) : 0.025 / word - noncontextual sentences and phrases, like website or software translation 0.015 / word - sentences with context, like essays, stories, descriptions etc... Have experience with SDL Trados software, all translations are done by real persons, not by google translate or any other software.
