Some examples of successes on this front: budgeting of sales and gross profit based on trends, expectations and CRM pipelines, future landed cost projections, cost plus quoting and profit margin simulations by sales line net of future known events.

I enjoy walking into day-to-day situations and finding impactful ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting systems and supporting workflows by further configuring the system, improving the quality of Excel workaround, and sometimes creating entirely new tools and workflows that add functionality previously deemed unreachable!

The examples I cited here relate to some of my past successes within manufacturing and import / distribution clients utilizing the Intuit QuickBooks line. I also have familiarity with the MS Dynamics and Sage product lines, which I complement with trusted "best-in-class" VARs that I have worked with for many years.

Deployed a fully functional dashboarding and analytics solution from scratch to satisfy client's need for real-time and historical information, via a combination of SQL queries, Microsoft Power BI and external sources.

This given excerpt deals with slicing ~2 million sales lines by endpoint, giving users the ability to self-serve by pivoting the data by various dimensions. The mapping aspect provides immediate visual feedback for any given selection, as well as giving users the ability to select ranges of outputs via mouse drag, which will in turn serve to update the rest of the visual aids. Furthermore, I plotted the data points on an overlay of expected population growth from 2016 to 2021 by county in order to assist executives in decision-making with regards to territory realignments and investments.
