I have been freelance writer for ten years, contributing to the New York Times, The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, Reuters, The Christian Science Monitor and People Magazine.
As a staff reporter for weekly and dailies, I having done my shares of obits, police reporting and feature stories.
For the Baltimore City Paper, I have written the gamut of stories from feature covers to art reviews. I also helped establish a popular column called Charmed Life which explored Baltimore’s lost history and unsung characters. Charmed Life was eventually published as a book.
I have also produced, directed, and co-edited three documentaries. The first, The Last Season, The Life and Demolition of Memorial Stadium details history and sentimentality behind Baltimore’s beloved Memorial Stadium. It became a local best seller around the holiday season and has since sold thousands.
In addition to video, I’ve done radio documentaries for a Baltimore-produced NPR show, called The Signal.
