A pharmacist with a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and I have experienced during and after studying in drug dispensing, drug consultation and coordination with pharmaceutical companies.
My undergraduate degree was focused on biology, chemistry, physics, pharmacology and industrial pharmacy. In the first semester of my freshman year, I took cell biology, chemistry, and Physics I Courses. During my second and third semesters, I took Anatomy, physiology, Organic Chemistry and Physical Pharmacy courses. These courses focused on human anatomy and organ functions, qualitative and quantitative analysis of chemical elements, the study of properties, structure and reactions of organic compounds as well as applied physics and chemistry in pharmaceutics. Several courses and labs involved understanding and interpretation of cell biology and function, histology and molecular interactions in human body. One lab of particular interest was pharmacology lab I where I learned to deal with animals in biological and pharmacological terms.
Upon graduation, I used large portions of this education in the pharmaceutical field and I am ready to pursue a graduate degree in biology-related fields.
