Speeding up my website

Samaid sped up my website (from 8.9 seconds to 5.5), which I'm quite happy with. As I"m not savvy in this field I can't really say whether this work was done well or could have been done better. But my website definitely improved, and Samaid deliverd the work on time, and the budget was good. I became sick and so was actually only able to pay some days later, which was no problem. I asked Samaid to write a little report on what he had done, but haven't received that yet.

Write a front-end for a PHP MySQL website

Maybe he is a good developer, maybe he is not. He doesn't know Linux - that's for sure. I was not able to see his work. I did the server setup, and the base install of PHP and other required dependencies for the application. He continually harassed about payment prior the completion of the work. He was not able to use command-line Linux (couldn't scp files from his machine to the server) so I never saw his work. I will not ever hire this person again.
