Translation from English to German

Thomas was very good at communicating. We assigned the contract to him when he was on vacation, and he immediately notified us and explaining he was away. We were very impressed with his honesty, and agreed he could start when he was back. On his return he started work straight away and kept us informed of his progress. Work completed as promised.
