The task is as follows: I am working on a master thesis for decision making in start-ups, and need to design a small business game/simulation for a start-up team aimed at observing decision-making under high uncertainty. The requirements are as follows: 1) The business simulation should be start-up/entrepreneurial specific 2) It has to be tailored to a team of 3-5 people 3) The overall game should last 40-70 minutes 4) The task of the game has to be relevant to most startups 5) The task should focus on the decision-making process within a team and particularly - certain biases - Framing Bias, Overconfidence Bias, third bias you may suggest. (it has to be observable) 6) The game should have an observable result according to which it should be possible to estimate the quality of the decision The topic of the thesis is related to team composition (homogeneity/heterogeneity) and proneness to biases - so ideally throughout the game I should be able to observe HOW the teams exhibit certain biases and how that influences the final decision. It is a rather sophisticated project, so a person with knowledge of decision-making/bias literature and some experience in conducting actual experiments needed. You may use existing games/simulations as a source of ideas/inspiration. Overall, I am ready to pay a good price to a good expert with experience.
