Hi, my name is Greta and my (small) Texas company uses WordPress to develop applications and websites. I am extremely familiar with WordPress and its core code bases and I typically develop custom plugins and themes.
We have 2 options to implement the new design, we can use the built in MyThemes options panel (which basically creates inline styling), OR we can create a child theme. (to ensure that the CSS styles loading does not incur additional page load time).
I have installed Ribbon on my developer site, so you can review the design process there.
Suggestions for feminizing the design. * Subtle rounding (remove edginess). *Soften the Colors. “Frame” the Images in related posts etc. * Change the Header Font-Family body font seems ok. Perhaps a subtle “textured” background to not make it so “flat grey”. Do you need to keep the Logo Colors?
Timeline:
1-3 working days discuss play around with design which are in line with the topic/niche of the blog, but still feminine..
We will need to agree best times to “connect” so that there is appropriate feedback and so that the design process does not stall.
We Develop on our own servers and you will be provided with a link and login to view progress at During the Design Reviews.
Delivery will be wither a ZIP Child Theme, Or instructions on where what to update the options page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Regards, Greta
