I am looking for a linux system administrator to assist in the migration of a mail server from one host to another and some basic config on the new server. MUST WORK ON SITE IN HONG KONG AND BE EXPERIENCED. and be committed to come to work on site between 6-9pm on a sunday. The old server uses cPanel and Centos. Tasks: - set up a mail gateway to collect emails while migration is under way - fix permissions issues on directories - assign files to correct user. - transfer some SSL certificates - create mysql database users and update connection strings for each website. (around 40 dynamic websites) - some basic system optimisation and installation of monitoring tools to identify where resource spikes are coming from - possibly set up git to deploy to the live server and staging server

I am an experienced Linux administrator. Posting such project with 'on-site' requirements on this portal does not make much sense. It greatly limit your options to your local market giving you almost no chance to find suitable professional in HK. Please consider remote work. I can authenticate myself so you can be sure that I will do no harm to your server / services nor abuse your data. Also, I am ready to sign NDA if needed. I can be verified for example by VAT EU number.
