The unique information that you want from the programmer to gather are moment values of an image and fortunately I know how to get them, train them for face detection. More over, I can also deal with environmental problems such as low light. To be honest, I am not very good in the graphical design but I can prepare something that looks like the one on the Youtube video. Dear, I am familiar with image processing. I have already developed code for face recognition. your objective is to find face from image and then find similarity with another image. So, simple euclidean distance between feature values of two images is good. Please let me know. Thanks.

Hello, I carefully read your project proposal. For years I have developed artificial intelligence techniques including face recognition, speaker identification and verification, speech recognition. For face recognition we have FERET database-UOS(color and grey) and our database(1250 persons) built ourselves. In modeling train we used Adaboost method using subspace analysis and neural network analysis and optimized Gabor feature parameters. Recognition performance is 95% in front, 30 degrees of right-left, 15 degrees of rotate for face state, and in the task of more than 500 persons. Currently I have the project which is making photo by Camera,detecting face in photo, comparing it ant saving into database. Also I have developed PHP App comparing same photo. Besides I have Android App for Speaker Verify, Voice Dialer, Game, etc. developed by Android SDK 3.0 and Eclipse(Helios). In your proposal you was talk that the alpha information must be as unique as possible for a face. It seems to me that beside contrast parameter-alpha several feature parameters and algorithm need. I have gained experience with computer vision on Android devices and face detection, specifically, during my internships with the R&D department at ARM. I am your best choice for this project as I can rapidly provide a robust face recognition solution based on well-researched and comprehensively peer-reviewed methods available in the public domain. I understand that you expect to obtain some sort of hash for each face that can be compared to other faces' to determine a distance between the two. I'm afraid that the task of face recognition is rather complex and getting a simple hash value for a person's face is not a robust solution to the problem. Instead, I can provide you with an Android library project that uses a well-known recognition model. This model can be trained on (and later updated with) images representing the faces of different users and then predict the most likely user in new images captured from the camera. The prediction produced will be an integer user ID, which you can specify for each image used for training the model. You will be able to specify a threshold distance that determines how similar the tested image must be for a valid prediction. The model state can be stored and retrieved from a file directly, but ideally you will want to store (small-sized) images of users to periodically update the model and increase its recognition confidence.
