I am looking for someone brave enough to attempt to remake the elements you can find on UStream chat. Currently the chat engine on Ustream has 3 tabs Video, Social Stream, and chat. I am looking to Loose the video aspect and combine Social Stream and chat together. The concept is an engine where you can log in using facebook, twitter, or maybe a guest login. The engine should have avatars and allow people to select emoticons to express themselves. you should also be able to show and hide the chat list of names to allow more typing space when desired. I would like element such as if someone clicks the avatar to the user name they can go to their new social friends twitter or facebook profile from there they can friend or follow them. A user should be able to go back and delete their comments and lastly if they choose to post there comment to twitter or Facebook they can do so by pushing a button.
