Contest Brief

I am a small business. I am a massage therapist and also do complementary treatments. Swedish massage, pregnancy massage, deep tissue sports massage, aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage, hand reflexology, relaxing leg and foot massage ising reflexology pressure points (currently training to be a reflexologist the past 8 months but not qualified untill christmas)
I also do facials using the brand 'Holos' which is also Irish and originally from wexford it uses all natural ingredients.
At the start of every treatment i apply heated mitts/ cloth onto the persons feet and cleanse, tell them to take a deep breath in and i stretch their body from the feet on the exhale. I also press on a reflex on the foot called the solar plexus for the second breathe they take in.
All massage oils and butters i use are all bought from ireland. They are 100% organic, natural and unrefined (they have not been filtered or heated, removing any nutritional value).
I have a bowl of hot water and usually lavander fresh from the garden floating in the steaming water, or essential oil or se other fresh herb, so they inhale this steam while lying down and recieving their treatment. I am a huge advocate for reuasable, recyling, creating less waste and for creating 0% bullshit in the products i make or the treatments i give. It is done nearly everywhere else , peoples massage time being cut and being told the products are 100% natural when not ect ect!
I also create candles, candle melts, bath salts, foot and bodyscrubs, a massage candle and body butter. All 100% natural and organic to every inch of its existance. Candles are made from hemp, natural material we live around and reused glass jars. The wax is bought in ireland, is unrefined and organic grade A soya.
The wick at the end when all used can be removed very easily and thrown into compost. The jar can then be washed and used for what ever else, yoghurt you take to work, handful of nuts or you can buy another candle that has no jar and is in decompossible material and cheaper to buy that initial candle (in jar). Pop the new candle into candle jar after the remove decomposible packaging and relight!!
I also trained as a yoga teacher and provide stretches /poses to help that particular customer/client with their injury, discomfort. I always email aftercare to the person after treatment and that is where they are also given yoga pose info. I email aftercare as anyone who has just has a massage does not need to be blabbed at, they will forget what you say amd you dont want to totally bring them out of their relaxing zone. I also can do mobile treatments and go to peoples houses also.
As an option i provide freshly picked herbs and a hot drop of water for their travel mug/ waterbottle after treatment. They can drink it on their journey home after treatment
