Hello I believe I can implement this application for you. I was developing couple of Android application which are available on Google play as well. The latest one dealing with the navigation inside of the university campus using GPS, Accelerometer and Magnetic sensor providing also augmented reality mode. If you require an application showing the current speed from GPS data I can do it for you...even if you want to use accelerometer as a fallback if no-GPS data is available (simple a derivative of acceleration in time) Regards Jakub.
