Hello. I'm looking for some software that actively watches a drive for a removable device to be inserted (SD Card) and move its contents (a folder) into a specified address on the HDD of the computer. After this, it should prompt (using a dialogue box with fields) what to rename the folder.
Yes. This may seem like a very easy task but it needs to be performed by "older", computer illiterate people. This is also a very frequent daily task and is very prone to errors. I have already searched online for existing software but instead found programs that perform more complex tasks (batch renaming etc.)
The OS is WIn10.
Hello! I might be able to code a custom solution for you. Please contact me via chat so we could discuss all the details and then i would make a final decision if i feel fit for this job. I don't require any payments in advance besides the milestone deposit to be made. Please see my reviews for some more references. Thank you.
When a device is inserted the TSR program, which starts when windows does, will pop up and ask them if they would like to copy files off the device. if they select yes then they will be further prompted for a folder name if they do not like the automatically generated date time based name. The folder will be in the documents folder of the user profile they are using. A progress bar will show them the progress and then when it is finished it will pop up windows explorer to the location of the files they just copied.
