Hi,
I have been in sales for around 15 years now and most of that was in business to business world, where you talked to people who had other companies calling and pitching them all day.
I learned quickly that IF a decision maker gave me the time of day, I would need to stand out from the competition.
How did I do that? I wrote a general pitch about my company, it's services and products. Then I took our top 50 best sellers and rewrote (in my own words and the company used my words for future catalogs) the pitches for each of them.
Then I memorized all of it. I continued to write pitches for other products but all told, I timed myself once and if a client sat me down and said "tell me about every product you sell and why I should buy them," it took me 72 minutes!
I never had a client ask for info on everything, but I have had to do presentations that went upwards of an hour and I did that buy having interesting, intriguing (the kind that make people lean in for a better listen), entertaining, affable and informative things to say.
If you pick me, I'll write the thing, but give you two rounds of edits included.
Thanks!
