Dear Employer,
I represent IT Wizard, a Romanian based company specialized in embedded/mobile development.
Answering your questions:
1. C++: in May 2009 we finalized a 1 year project for a US based company. The project involved Software Defined Radio (SDR) for GPS, and was entirely developed in C++ for Linux/Windows, using for optimizations the IPP functionality of the Intel processor. (references may be provided at request)
2. Linux: throughout the years we developed embedded equipments with its own customized Linux kernel & OS (ex: ARM, x86 and also setuped large-servers with Linux as an OS).
3. QT GUI: we used this UI framework only seldom, when needed for internal visual interfaces.
4. TCP: for one client in US we developed a media-gateway capable of supporting 1k+ concurrent connections. The system was tested and deployed for a large governmental customer, and is currently in use.
5. Mobile development: we worked on J2ME, Windows CE and Android. Our latest project “Mezzofanti – Augmented reality through text recognition” was developed for Android and submitted for the ADC2 at the end of August 2009. All the code is available online, if you want to take a look over the code quality.
We are doing successful outsourcing from the start of the company in 2005, mainly for US based companies.
The price is only estimated, from the brief description of the project.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Best regards,
IT Wizard
